The site

Owned by Three Valleys Water and managed by Groundwork Thames Valley.  A wetland site bordering Iver Heath. 

The brief

Removal and disposal of burnt out vehicles obstructing the public right of way,  followed by minor earthworks and vegetation clearance, installation of steps, fence removal and disposal, installation of boardwalk, restoration of a large steel framed footbridge. 

The solution

Removed vehicles using a 3.5 tonne, 360 degree tracked excavator and arranged for third party disposal. 

The path was cleared, steps and a boardwalk were constructed together with repairs to the existing bridge. 

The result

The site was left in a safe state for future footpath users to benefit from.
